domainsThe Through Their Eyes project participants at Brock University worked in conjunction with various partner organizations to make Through Their Eyes possible. Information and data gathered from the project will be used by a number of affiliated community partners to inform initiatives to promote active aging and improve the age-friendliness of the Niagara region.  The Through Their Eyes project benefitted from the support of its informal consultants with expertise in the domains of city life (see image to right) that influence the health and quality of life of citizens in the region.  Weblink: http://www.who.int/ageing/Brochure-EnglishAFC9.pdf.

The project’s partners – Niagara Region Public Health and Niagara Region Housing – were both invaluable assets to the project and displayed a strong interest in the use of the findings from the project. A list of our associated partners with this project are listed below.

Service Learning Resource Centre – Provided Service-Learning Course Incentive Grants to support the Through Their Eyes project. We would like to thank Brock University’s Service Learning Resource Center for their continued support of the Through Their Eyes Project. We appreciate the many ways the Service Learning Resource Centre has assisted in creating an unforgettable experience for both Brock University students and the St. Catharines community.
Brock University Geography Map Library – ArcGIS software is available to the Brock community through a campus-wide site license.
